Sometimes saying NO is self-preservation. We often feel guilty about it. Saying no can even be a sign of inner strength, recognizing that at that particular time and place, it is not the best move for you at that moment and time. Some days you can say yes, other days no. True friends will recognize and respect the boundaries you must keep for your own sanity. If they respect and honour them, they are true friends. Hugs, Alan, one day, one hour, one minute at a time. The journey is never straight; there are often twists and turns along the path. ♥

Saying 'no' to something you want to do requires far more inner strength than saying 'yes' to something you can't do at this stage.

Sleep easy knowing you made the right choice Al.

Genuine friends that understand and respect your boundaries - they are the keepers :)
